After Babel
What phones and social media are doing to kids — and what to do about it.
About
After Babel, written by social psychologist Jonathan Haidt, examines what smartphones and social media are doing to children's mental health, and what parents, schools, and platforms might actually do about it. It grew directly out of Haidt's research and his book on the same subject.
Data, research summaries, and guest contributions from other researchers and parents build a running case for rethinking childhood in a phone-based world. Parents, educators, and policymakers make up the core readership, for obvious reasons.
