Comics Beat

Comics Beat has covered the comics industry since 2005, outlasting several waves of consolidation in the business, and its focus extends well beyond the superhero mainstream into independent publishers, manga, webcomics and the business side of the industry: sales figures, retailer struggles, creator disputes.

It's a trade publication in spirit, useful for people working in or around comics as much as readers, though its reviews and interviews are accessible enough for anyone following the medium seriously. Expect opinionated takes rather than neutral wire coverage.
