DealBook
The morning briefing Wall Street reads first.
About
DealBook is the New York Times' morning briefing on Wall Street deal-making, corporate boardrooms, and the regulators circling both. Andrew Ross Sorkin built it into one of finance's most-read newsletters, and it still gets forwarded around trading floors and law firms before most people finish their coffee.
Expect mergers, IPOs, boardroom fights, and the regulatory battles that follow big money, reported with the depth of a full newsroom rather than one person's hot take. It's dense with names and numbers and assumes you already know the players, so it's less an introduction to finance than the story behind that morning's headline.
