Electric Literature
New fiction, essays, and the conversation around both.
About
Electric Literature publishes new fiction and essays alongside criticism and interviews, positioning itself as a home for literary writing outside the traditional magazine gatekeepers. Its newsletter surfaces original work readers won't find summarized elsewhere.
Each edition typically features a piece of short fiction or a personal essay alongside recommendations and commentary on the literary landscape, with attention to voices underrepresented in traditional publishing. Good for readers who want to discover new writers, not just keep tabs on established ones.
