Hardware FYI
The engineering side of hardware: components, manufacturing, and supply chain.
About
Hardware FYI covers the engineering side of hardware development, component sourcing, manufacturing processes, PCB design trends, aimed at people who actually build physical products rather than consumers shopping for gadgets. It's a trade newsletter in spirit, even though it reads cleanly for hobbyist makers too.
The technical specificity is the draw: supply chain shifts and component shortages get covered with real engineering context rather than business-press generality. Hardware engineers and product designers get more out of it than general tech readers.
